This program exceeded my expectations in every aspect. As a high school student, there is a limit to the type of research we can conduct, but Dr. Divya ensured that we get the best exposure. So grateful to be part of this program!

The MoxieScientist program was a great experience for someone without prior research experience. I was able to work at my own pace and meet with the mentor when I needed it, which made the program very flexible and accommodating for other activities alongside the program. The part I liked the most about the MoxieScientist program was that we got to pick the topic we wanted to research and we presented them in a symposium, bringing the program to a close. Overall, I definitely enjoyed learning about all the things the program offered.

Not only did Moxie Scientist teach me so many fascinating things about chemistry and drug development, but it also fulfilled my goal of doing research in highschool. Dr Divya was the perfect instructor when it came to designing my project and she was always available to guide me when things got tough. Through the experience, I was able to find a disease, design a drug for it, and present my findings. It was a very valuable part of my summer and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is curious in doing research!

This is a massive undertaking by those running the program, and I view this as a success. Between the computational nature and drug discovery aspects, the time spent on these projects, 10 weeks, seemed impactful on student growth. Regardless if they go into drug discovery in the future, the rigor performed is great exposure that will enhance future successes.
It is evident, whether planned or otherwise, that each student was aware of major components related to computational research in drug discovery: Context of any problem involving A) impact of disease, B) existing drugs (if any) and C) relevant research; the D) existence of computational tools and their E) utility in research. I'm sure I am missing something, but these were evident to me across all presentations.
Just to emphasize, I am impressed with the group in what you have done in 10 weeks, in their "poster ability" ... very cool.
Let them know that I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them, and that I respect the hard work that I could see in their posters. This task that you and they have done--truly a feat!

Not only did Veer show great interest in his topic, but he also had a researched molecule to show for it. I was delighted to see that Moxie Scientist helped Veer to research a drug that can make a real change for infants that struggle with his selected condition. It's a delight to see the time he's committed to his research and it definitely helped him gauge what pursuing science would be like in college.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the research program offered by Moxie Scientist. The program was well-structured and kept her fully engaged. It also provided excellent guidance from an experienced professional. As this was her first research program, it presented a challenge, but it also encouraged her to think critically and creatively. The mentor was not only knowledgeable but also very approachable and supportive, making the experience even more rewarding.
